What is the purpose of X-tropia.com?

X-tropia is all about pop culture, movies, television, technology, food, video games, toys and entertainment that people enjoy to geek out over.  I am also very interested in Transhumanism: the theory of continual human improvement through technology. That's where the name X-tropia.com comes from. It refers to the theory of extropy or a continually evolving framework that improves human experience. Above all I want to share fun things that inspire and entertain people and evoke joy about the past and an optimistic outlook for the future.

Who are you?

Hi there! I'm Daniel, an artist and graphic designer living in Chicago, IL USA. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I really enjoy organization. I like drawing and painting, creative writing, making comics and above all learning. I'm into techno music and film score and I love to dance. I love geeking out about comics, toys, Lego and movies. For a futurist I'm also strangely nostalgic. So I am always looking up things that I enjoyed from my childhood growing up in the 1980's. I have a unique way of looking at the world. I have high hopes for humanity and believe we have the capcity to be even more than we are now. I think the purpose of life is to learn and expand consciousness.
