What is X-tropia?

X-tropia is an entertainment site that reviews the latest movies, television shows, video games, toys & action figures, gadgets, snacks and lots of other kewl stuff that is fun to geek out over! The name X-tropia is a play on the word extropy. That is the theory that life expands and gets better through intelligence and technology. It refers to my desire to share fun things that inspire and entertain people while evoking joy about the past and optimistism for the future!

Who are you?

Hi there! I'm Daniel, an artist and graphic designer living in Chicago, IL USA. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I really enjoy organization. I like drawing and painting, graphic design, creative writing, web design, making comics and above all learning! I'm into techno music and film score and I love to dance. For a futurist I'm also strangely nostalgic. So I am always looking up things that I enjoyed from my childhood growing up in the 1980's. I have a unique way of looking at the world. I have high hopes for humanity and believe we have the capcity to be even more than we are now. I think the purpose of life is to learn and expand consciousness.
